The studio other hairdressers learn from
Mikelah developed the Seamless Foil Method in this studio. Now she gets flown interstate to teach it, and every stylist here is certified in it before they touch a client's foils.
What she teaches
The Mikelah-Jayde Seamless Foil Method™: a way of foiling built for the grow-out, so colour fades soft instead of leaving a hard regrowth line. It gives the client high impact in the chair and a longer run between appointments, which is why clients stay.
She has travelled to Sydney to teach it to other hairdressers, and it is the house technique here: certification is part of the job for every stylist on this floor, trained by Mikelah personally.
A studio built on teaching
- ✓The whole team trains together every Wednesday, rotated through the team, with outside educators through the year.
- ✓New stylists start with two weeks one-on-one with Mikelah before they take a column.
